ANNOUNCING THE CENTER ELECTRONIC RECYCLING DAY - JANUARY 25, 2013 FROM 10:00 am to 2:00 pm ON THE SQUARE!
The City of Center contracts with Allied Waste/Republic Industries to be the city’s solid waste service provider. The City offers twice a week residential garbage curbside pick up. Commercial accounts have the option of selecting either once a week or twice a week pick up schedule.
Any solid waste customer should call 1-800-678-7274 if they have any problems.
The Holidays where there are no trash collections are:
New Years Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
In the event that a holiday occurs on a day regularly scheduled for trash pickup, the residential garbage scheduled for pickup on that day shall be picked up on the next regularly scheduled pickup day following the holiday.
Christmas Tree Collection

Recycling Program
The City of Center offers a single location to take recycleable materials. This is a service provided by the City at no cost to the citizens of Center. Just bring your materials to the location and place them in the bin. No sorting is required, however please remove your materials from a bag and place them loose into the bin. Please do not dispose of household waste in the recycling bin.
