WIN GIFT CERTIFICATES BY SIGNING UP FOR CODE RED
City of Center and T/R’s Steaks & More Announce CODE Red Contest
$50 Drawing For Those Who Sign Up

CENTER, Texas (February 19, 2013) – The City of Center and T/R’s Steaks & More are teaming up to announce a contest for those who sign up for the CODE Red emergency notification system between now and April 15, 2013.  Those signing up will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate donated by T/R’s Steaks & More.

“CODE Red is an emergency notification system, which, in the event of an emergency, will call your home, cell phone or send you a text message,” explained David Chadwick, City of Center Mayor. 

While severe weather can strike at any moment through the year, Spring time is a very active time for severe weather.  “We have more tornado events, more hail and thunderstorms in the Spring as the seasonal weather patterns start to shift from winter to summer,” explained Center Fire Chief Keith Byndom.  “As such, we are encouraging people to sign up for CODE Red now so they can receive the notifications.”
