The City of Center would like to make all citizens and the general public aware that construction will begin the week of January 1, 2014, on a complete reconstruction of MLK Drive from Shelbyville Street past Greer Street.  As construction will require complete closing of sections between side streets, the contractor is required to provide detour and alternative routes to allow access for all residents and properties during construction.
