NEXT COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR SCHEDULED
City and Community to Report on Multiple Projects

CENTER, Texas (April 12, 2013) – Everyone in Center is invited to attend the next “Coffee with the Mayor” scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Windham Civic Center. 

“Each of these meetings with people is very special and we have so many things going on,” started Center Mayor David Chadwick.  “We should be wrapping up with the sidewalk project, Community House is coming along, and we will soon break ground on the Center Park Expansion.  But, now we have some very important conversations to start.  We will begin the update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and need to have our citizens participate in the process.”

The City is conducting a CodeRed sign up contest and whoever the winner is will be presented with their prize - gift certificates to T/R’s Steaks and More.  “CodeRED is such a great service to have, and it’s free.  I would encourage all of our residents to sign up,” the Mayor continued.

Chadwick continued, “We schedule these Coffees with the Mayor to start after people have dropped off kids at school and end right before 8 so people can make it in to work.”

The event does not require an RSVP and is an informal come-and-go setting.
