The Center City Council, meeting at a regular session, approved a contract with KSA Engineers of Longview, Texas, to begin working on a capital improvements plan to the Center Municipal Airport.

The purpose of the plan is to identify what infrastructure projects the City would like to implement out at the airport for various improvements.

Based on the plan, the City can then apply for grants from the Federal Aviation Administration or the Texas Department of Transportation - Aviation Division, to implement the plan.
