HOME Grant
The City of Center has received a grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to reconstruct six houses for qualifying homeowners. Please review the following information to determine of you qualify.
Has your home fallen into such a state of disrepair that it is substandard?
If you can answer Yes to the following questions, you may qualify for a grant or loan to replace it with a new or rehabilitated home.
Do you own your own home?
Is it within the city limits of Center?
Is your gross yearly income at or below the limits shown below?

If you answered yes to these three questions, then you meet the basic eligibility requirements for assistance under the HOME program. The City of Center has received a HOME Program grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The funds will be used to assist eligible homeowners to reconstruct or rehabilitate their dwelling.
