City of Center Schedules Second “Coffee With the Mayor”
City receives excellent input

CENTER, Texas (July 5, 2011) – Everyone in Center is invited to attend the second “Coffee with the Mayor” is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 7:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Windham Civic Center.

“We want to continue to have constructive and informal dialogue with the people we serve, the citizens of Center,” explained Center Mayor David Chadwick. “These ‘Coffees with the Mayor’ are a terrific means to accomplish this goal.”

The first Coffee with the Mayor was held on June 7 and it was a good turnout with a lot of enthusiasm on the future of the City. “We received a lot of positive feedback from those that attended the first “Coffee with the Mayor”; we were able to receive some new ideas from people and we learned of a few who were willing to step up and volunteer their time for the City,” stated Center City Manager Chad Nehring.

The event does not require an RSVP and is an informal come-and-go setting.
