Highway 87 East sewer line extension

Status:  Lift station is complete.  Awaiting final installation of sewer line.
Estimated completion date:  June 2011

Community House Rennovation

Status:  City Council authorized contract for Goodwin-Lassiter Architects to design rennovation of building.

Mini-Park Enhancements

Status:  City Council authorized MHS Planning to design enhancements at Mini-Park

Phase I Multi-Purpose Trail Program

Status:  City has accepted Transportation Enhancement Grant from Texas Department of Transportation for sidewalk and trail construction.  Bids to be accepted.  Council to approve bids.  Construction expected to begin Fall 2011.

Austin Street Reconstruction

This project is an economic development project in conjunction with Shelby Savings Bank.  The City and Shelby Savings are trading land and the result will allow Shelby Savings to construct an addition to their building.  Austin Street will be re-directed to where it will cross Elliot Street directly in front of the east side of Austin Street.  The project is in the design phase.
